Marketing Specialist

General Description

The Marketing Specialist is responsible for working closely with the marketing team to develop and implement marketing plans and strategies through communications, creative services, and branding initiatives. The Marketing Specialist is tasked with helping to identify marketing trends and opportunities for growth, as well as creating marketing materials such as brochures, statements of qualification and presentations.


  • Collaborate with the Director of Marketing, internal teams and partners on marketing plans and strategies
  • Assist with planning, developing, and updating marketing materials including both print and digital content files
  • Create content for and update social media accounts and company website
  • Organize, coordinate, and track all branded promotional items
  • Organize market research to grow the brand
  • Analyze questionnaires and other forms of feedback
  • Ensure compliance of Branding Standards of all brands and subsidiaries
  • Assist with day-to-day marketing tasks and coordinating marketing projects

Required Experience and Education

  • Associate degree in Business or related field
  • 2+ years of relevant experience

Preferred Experience and Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing/Communications, Journalism, English or equivalent
  • 5+ years of relevant experience (construction industry, giving exposure to EPC projects in the electric power industry)


  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Visio) and Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign and Illustrator)
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative and assertiveness, the ability to plan and manage work in an efficient manner, and the ability to work well under stress and time pressure
  • Highly motivated, well organized, resourceful, and proactive with a tenacious and empowering team orientated style
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication, interpersonal, influencing and presentation skills with high level attention to detail
  • Demonstrated problem solving experience with the ability to multi-task and apply a structured approach to complex situations
  • Ability to work irregular schedule and long hours necessary to meet required deadlines
  • Adhere to internal standards, policies, and procedures
  • Perform special projects and completes other duties as assigned or requested
